For this procedure you need different components.
Foundation
Foundation is a clear or pink nail-polish. It is very important to use, if you want your nail polish to last longer and it protects the fingernail plates from damage.
Colored nail polish
This fingernail polish will become your main fingernail cover. It is important to remember that the fingernail polish should not contain toluol and formaldehyde because they are very harmful for your health. High-quality fingernail polishes contain teflon.
There are different types of fingernail polishes:
- Cream fingernail polish ( it is enough to apply it once)
- Express fingernail polish (dries in about 60-90 seconds, because it contains a lot of alcohol, but it does not last long)
- Pill-off fingernail polish (It can be removed with one touch)
- Mosaic fingernail polish (it has an effect of mosaic on the fingernails)
- Fingernail polish with UV filter (it will make your fingernails beautiful and protect them from ultra violet rays)
- Fingernail polish with calcium (it is made for the fragile fingernails)
- Fingernail polish with fruit acids (it is made for the splitting fingernails)

Fingernail polish hardener
Fingernail polish hardener is usually clear and used to protect decorative coating and makes it brighter. Some fingernail polish hardeners contain microscopical fibers.

Solution for drying fingernail polish
Due to its mixture it makes the process of drying shorter. Instead of this solution, you can use dryer, but it should not be very intensive and hot.

Correcting soft-tip pen
This soft-tip pen is very convenient. It is impregnated with fingernail polish remover and used to correct little mistakes. But you can substitute it with just a piece of fabric, soaked in fingernail polish remover.
Fingernail support
Fingernail support is used to apply nail polish carefully. It is not obligatory to have it, but it is very useful.
Device for drying
The device for drying is a very convenient accessory. Using this device the risk to wipe off fingernail polish is not so great.

Stages of applying one-color finger nail polish

1. First of all apply fingernail foundation in order to make the color deeper and more even. Before doing this, you should remove all remnants of the cream and nourishing masks.
2. After a few minutes, take your favorite nail polish and twist it very carefully, but do not shake it up, because it will cause air bubbles, which make the cover not smooth.
3. Dip the brush in the fingernail polish and then get rid of the excess fingernail polish.
4. The main procedure of applying fingernail polish is simple, but you have to follow the order of the process. First, bring the brush to the middle of the fingernail plate in order not to soil the root of the fingernail. Then touch the middle of the fingernail and only after that move it to the edge. Apply the fingernail polish with careful movements.
5. If there is fingernail polish left on the brush, apply it on the sides of the fingernail. You should do it quickly and accurate in order to make the cover even. You will need some practice, to become proficient.
6. First coating should dry for some time, otherwise it won’t last long.
7. In 10 minutes apply the second cover. If you decided to apply a dark nail polish, keep in mind that you have to be very careful, because every imperfection would be seen.
8. Don’t blow on your fingernails in order to dry it quicker. The humidity of your breath will only make it take longer.
9. After the nail polish has been dried, apply the hardener. You can also put your fingernails under the stream of cold water for two minutes, but first make sure that nail polish is dry.
