The technique of applying artificial fingernails

The easiest and cheapest way is to apply artificial fingernails made from plastic or nylon. You can even do it at home. At the store you can buy artificial nails, which have different shape, length and color. There are even artificial fingernails with all kinds of paintings. The technique of applying this nails is very simple:
1. First you should clean and remove oil from the fingernail surface.
2. Then apply foundation, which is supposed to protect fingernail plates from the harmless effect of the glue.
3. Apply the glue on the whole surface of the fingernail plate (The thinner the glue layer, the better artificial fingernails are attached)
4. Apply an artificial fingernail. Then the glue hardens, because of the chemical reaction, when it (glue) interacts with humidity.
When the air is too dry, for example in winter time because of the central heating system, the glue will be not so durable. So before applying artificial fingernails make sure that you have enough humidity in the air. If the air is too dry, hang the wet towels on the heat radiators for about 40-50 minutes or use a pulverizer.
If you want to correct the shape of the artificial nail you should file it, keep in mind that the nail-files are different for the artificial and real fingernails.
